Meet the Doctors
Dr. Lauren Crawford
Dr. Lauren Crawford graduated SIU School of Dental Medicine in 2009. She spent the first 8 years of her career practicing dentistry in Illinois, Washington, Alabama, and Florida. During that time, she perfected her skills and experienced many beautiful things, but home was never far from her mind. After working in a variety of dental settings during her travels, Dr. Crawford was finally certain that she had broadened her realm of experience enough to create a practice on her own. In late 2017 she moved back to her hometown of Benton, IL and started LaBuwi Crawford Dental Wellness LLC in the footprint of her father's old dental practice. Dr. Crawford and her husband worked tirelessly renovating the building and updating the equipment to create a more modernized family dental practice. Today she stays abreast of new procedures and technologies through continuing education seminars and training. Dr. Crawford strives to provide a high standard of care in a fun yet professional environment. She wants every patient to leave the office smiling.
Dr. Robin S. LaBuwi
Dr. Robin S. LaBuwi DMD graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 1977. He has been providing compassionate, quality general dentistry services to Southern Illinois for more than 40 years. Whether Dr. LaBuwi was your dentist or your coach, he likely played a role in your life. He has been coaching in Benton and the surrounding areas almost as long as he has been practicing dentistry. When he isn't working, you may find him spending time at a local restaurant, hanging out with his grandchildren, on the high school football field or training in the weight room. He also serves on the Benton School Board and the Booster Club. Dr. LaBuwi bleeds maroon and he takes great pride in serving our community.
